Pai Gow Poker - The Game
Pai Gow Poker is the fusion
of American Poker and the ancient Chinese dominos game of
Pai Gow. Played with a standard 52-card deck and 1 wild
card, the objective of the game is to assemble two hands
of cards that rank higher than the banker's two hands.
Multi-player Pai-Gow is excellent as generally at a
casino there is a great deal of interaction between players.
Pai Gow requires fewer decisions
per hour than most casino games, the only game that is slower
is Caribbean Stud.
The house advantage for Pai
Gow is 2.3 percent compared to Blackjack, which when played
properly, is 0.5 percent.
Deal or Bank
Pai Gow offers you the opportunity
to choose to deal or bank. If you elect to bank ensure
you have enough money to cover the winnings of other players
at the table. Remember they are all playing against
the bank.
It is advantageous to be bank
but most casinos will only offer this one in seven hands
- although it does vary by casino.
