Basic Caribbean Stud
Strategy
Caribbean Stud is a
simple game with a simple strategy. Stand on any hand where you
have a pair or higher or where your pair is higher than the dealer's
up card - otherwise fold your hand.
If you have a pair
that matches the dealer's up card then I would still stand.
Some also suggest
that if you have an Ace-King and a match of the dealer's up card
that you stand as well - that's your call!
Progressive
Jackpot Strategy
The Progressive
Jackpot is only paid if you have played it and your hand is a Royal
Flush - for the record a Royal Flush occurs, on average once every
650,000 hands.
The strategy for
playing the jackpot is different and will differ on line from a land
based casino. The general rule on land is do not play the jackpot
unless it is at $150,000 or higher.
The essence is that the jackpot has taken time to reach this level
and therefore the opportunity of it hitting whilst still not high is
higher than when it is below this level.
Online this
decision is your choice, but make it wisely.
