Caribbean Stud
Poker - The Game
Caribbean Stud poker is a 5 card stud poker game played with a single 52
card deck. Up to six players can play. The object of the game is to
beat the Dealer's Hand. The game is played on a table that provides
each player with an Ante square, abetting circle and a slot for a
chance at the progressive jackpot.
How to Play Caribbean Stud Poker
To play Caribbean Stud Poker, you must first place a bet in the ante circle. You get 5
cards face down (note in some instances the last players card may
also be face up) and the dealer gets 4 cards face down with 1 card
exposed.
Once you look at your cards you have the option to play or fold. If
you wish to play, you have to bet exactly double the ante. If you
wish to fold, you forfeit the ante. After you've made a decision,
the dealer reveals the remaining 4 cards. If the dealer has an Ace
and King or higher he is deemed to "qualify" This means that both
your wagers (ante & bet) will be paid. If the dealer fails to
"qualify" you will still get your Ante back. If your cards beat the
dealer's cards then you will receive even money (1-1) on the ante,
and a bonus amount on the bet.
