Blackjack - Splitting Hands
If the first two cards dealt to you are
identical then you have the opportunity to double your bet and split the
hand. The question si should you do this and if so when.
You also need to be aware that rules vary by casino, but one common one is
that if you split Aces** you will be allowed only one additional card on
that hand.
if the third card dealt is identical to the first two, and say its a
seven, then you have the opportunity to split this card as well, providing
your prepared to pay the same ante that is on your other cards.
Note this triple 7 scenario is unusual as in the triple 7 jackpot games,
had you placed a dollar bet you would win the progressive jackpot for this
hand.
